Shirley Hendrix, Creator & Founder

Shirley Hendrix is the owner & operator of R & B Specialty Printing since 2001. Shirley’s commitment to customer service is one of the keys to her business growth and success. She vows to make each customer happy, no matter the size of the order. Visit R&B Specialty’s website, www.rbspecialtyprinting.info, to see the array of products offered, or come by the store location across from the Convention & Visitors Bureau in the Renasant Center for IDEAs. R&B Specialty has been a member of Community Development Foundation since 2008. Joining CDF furthered her network of business contacts to help in R&B Since then, she then became involved with CDF's Ambassador Program to become connected to her community, community leaders, and other small business owners. Shirley got involved in the Ambassador program in 2012 - present, named Ambassador of the Year in 2017. Between that time, she also became a CDF Board member in 2016 - 2018, CDF Executive Board member 2017-2018, CDF Governance Board in 2017 - 2018, while being part of a such a leadership on making changes in CDF Bylaws. She is a graduate of the Jim Ingram CLI 2017 program. She’s become ever more active in the community, serving as Fairy Godmother in NEWMS, member of (BOSS) Business Owners Strategies for Success, on promotions committee for Downtown on Main Street Assoc., and other varies groups. Shirley was named Top 50 Businesswomen in 2018, to become named 2019 Top 10 Businesswoman of the Year. Shirley has now added Author to her resume. She published her first book entitled, “Entrepreneur, So You Want to Start Your Own Business…Why Aren’t You Moving?” This book gives you little nuggets on how to start. How she got started and made it happen is all in there. Shirley has always had her door opened for other entrepreneurs starting businesses and those who may need encouraging words. She continues to be an inspiration to all.

Reggie Hendrix

I was born in Greenville, MS., but moved with my parents to Tupelo in 1993. I am a 2004 graduate of Tupelo High School. I went to Itawamba Community College and graduated in 2008 with an Associates of Arts degree. I then went on to University of Mississippi and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor’s in University Studies with Emphasis in Business. I am married with 6 boys, and 1 girl. We are members of Proximity Christian Fellowship. I have a cleaning business called Hendrix Services, and I am also the owner Of H.I.P. LLC, a property investment business.

Dr. Nickeda Shelton

PhD, LPC, NCC, NCSC

I've had the extraordinary opportunity to work with people of multiple ages for twenty plus years as a counselor/therapist, consultant, and public speaker. Additionally, I am also a small business owner. I have degrees from Mississippi Valley State University, Delta State University, Mississippi State University and the University of Mississippi along with a professional license in counseling, national certification in community and school counseling. I'm a member of White Hill Missionary Baptist Church. My personal motto is " the best journey is a purposed journey."

Pam Hadley

Pamela Hadley serves as First Vice President, Community Development & Social Responsibility Resource Officer for the MS Region of Renasant Bank. She has been in banking for 30 years. Ms. Hadley attended Mississippi State University, graduating with degrees in Business Administration and Communications.  She is also a graduate of the Consumer School of Banking at Vanderbilt, in Nashville, TN and is a graduate of the Jim Ingram Community Leadership Institute through the Community Development Foundation, in Tupelo, MS. In addition to Project Clean Tees, she contributes to her community, as Board President with S.A.F.E, Inc., member and Past-President of the Tupelo Kiwanis Club, Foundation Board member of LAMSTENN Kiwanis District; and Chair of the Tupelo Planning Committee. She is also a member of the MPUL Alliance, where she recently served as Executive Board member and Board Chair. Ms. Hadley is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Mr. & Mrs. Hadley reside in Tupelo, MS, where they are active members of the White Hill M.B. Church family.

Vice Chair

Carolyn Jones

Carolyn Jones is the Chief Executive Officer of Mississippi Minority Farmers Alliance, (MMFA).

Carolyn currently works with new and beginning farmers, socially disadvantaged, limited resource, veteran farmers and ranchers and local communities. Carolyn received a BS degree in Paralegal Studies from Mississippi University for Women and has over twenty (20) years’ experience as a Corporate Paralegal.
She and her husband (Chris) are veterans’ farmers and have been engaged in farming since 1976. They currently operate a 200-acre beef cattle farm in Northeast Mississippi. She has served on various committees advocating for equity and inclusion for Black farmers.

Carolyn is also working to alleviate health disparities within the Black community and currently serves on the Board of Directors of a Community Health Care organization that coordinates with local health care providers and community leaders to provide Covid-19 vaccination to under-served communities.

Shannon Daniel

Shannon Daniel currently resides in Olive Branch, Mississippi. She grew up in Memphis, Tennessee where she met and married Jeffery Daniel, pastor of White Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Tupelo, Mississippi. They were wed in 1992 and have two sons with wives and one granddaughter. Shannon has a love of learning and homeschooled her sons until high school. Once her sons entered school, she decided to continue her education by enrolling in Northwest Community College Desoto Center. While there, she received multiple honors, such as Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, was chosen Outstanding Student in her major from the Desoto Campus, was among 10 students named to the college’s Hall of Fame, the highest academic honor offered at Northwest and was chosen to represent the college through a pictorial of student success stories before legislation at the Capitol in Jackson, Mississippi. After earning an Accounting Degree with Special Honors from Northwest, she continued her education with The University of Mississippi. As a nontraditional student, she participated in honors and service organizations, including Phi Beta Lambda and Gamma Beta Phi Society prior to earning a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree. She has experience in both the corporate and nonprofit sector. Her love for people leads her to strive to help others improve their lives both personally and professionally.
